Howard Arnold Bush, 71, of Olustee died Sunday nigh at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital following a lenghty illness. Services have been set for Tuesday at 2:00pm at Lowell Memorial Chapel officiated by Bill Osborne. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Bush was born November 24, 1905 in Olustee. He was the son of Thomas and Willie Bush. He married Etta Webb September 22, 1928 at Altus he was a farmer/ rancher and a life time resident of Olustee and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include, his wife, Etta of the home, three sister-in-law, Susie Bush of Durant, Oklahoma; Bessie Bush of Durant, Oklahoma; and Pearl Bush of Mangum, Oklahoma; also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, three brothers, Jack, Sam and Bush, and one sister Bessie Elder.
