Howard was born April 18, 1914 in Bell County, Texas to Joe and Loda (Howard) Evans. He married Opal Hughes November 1, 1935 in Martha, Oklahoma. Howard farmed and lived in Martha for the past 61 years.
Funeral services for Howard Earl Evans are scheduled for Friday, March 12, 1982 at 2:30 pm at the First Methodist Church, Martha, officiated by Rev. Bill Moss and Rev. Bill Mease. Burial will follow in the Martha Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Howard Earl Evans is survived by his wife, Opal of the home in Martha; two sons, Ronnie Evans, Martha, Oklahoma; Lyndell Evans, Martha, Oklahoma; one brother Albert Evans, Martha, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Sheila Evans, Martha; one son, Wendell Evans preceded Howard in death in 1971,
