Hugh foreman, 98, of Duke died Saturday, August 31, 1991 in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services will be 2:00 pm Monday September 2, 1991 at the First Baptist Church of Duke. Officiating will be the Rev. Everett Smalts and Rev. Tim Presson. Burial will follow in the Rock Cemetery under the direction of the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, 1100 east Tamarack Road.

Mr. Foreman was born February 10, 1893 in Hamilton County Texas. He moved to this area in 1910 from New Mexico. He married Me. E. Hickerson on May 29, 1920 at Hollis, Oklahoma. He retired from the Post Office at Duke where he was Postmaster. Mr. Foreman was a member of the First Baptist Church of Duke.

Mr. Foreman is survived by his spouse M.E. Foreman of Duke, Oklahoma; children, Eugene Foreman and wife Gladys of Altus, Oklahoma; Bonnie B. Perryman and husband Fred, Clinton, Oklahoma; Metta Ruth Crabb, Carnegie, Oklahoma; Hughla Foreman, Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister Ruth Perdue, Gould, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.

Mr. Foreman was preceded in death by his mother and father, son, Henry Foreman 1922; daughter in 1938; four brothers, Edgar, Green, Wallie and Stephen Foreman; two sisters, Edna McClain; Agnes Coplen; seven grandchildren, Vicki Fussell, Philip Perryman, Freda Beall, Fred Arlen Perryman, Dale Perryman, Sue reed, Jacque Allen.
