Irene Kuhlman, 70, of Altus died at her home early Monday morning. Funeral services have been set for Wednesday at 2:00pm at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel, 1100 East Tamarack Road officiated by Sonny Tims. Burial will be in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Kuhlman was born June 20, 1920 at Terrall, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jimmy and Mellisa Ball. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three children, Jimmy Barns of Riverside, California, James Johnson of Altus, and Richard Johnson; one brother Dee Ball of Jacksonville, Texas; seven sisters, Jerldeen Jenkins of Bowie, Texas; Jean Calhoun of Bowie, Texas; Billie Bergt of Vernon, Texas; Mary Wood of Tulis, Texas; Lina McCraw of Wichita Falls, Texas; Freeda Holdbrook of Wichita Falls, Texas; and Joy Hughes of Vradford, Texas; also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a close friend, Joe Tatum.
