J. M. (Moss) Bryan age 77, of Altus, Oklahoma, died November 11, 1971 at the V. A. Hospital in Sulphur, Oklahoma.
Moss was born August 20, 1894 in Whiteville, Tennessee. He married Hasseltyne Montgomery February 15, 1945 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was a resident of southwest Oklahoma most of his life. Moss was a Tailor by trade, retiring after 30 years in 1959. He was a member of the Lions, Elks, A.G.V.C. C. and American Legion.
Funeral services for J. M. Bryan are scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 1971 at 2:00 pm in the Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Bill Davis. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Moss is survived by his wife, Hasseltyne of the home in Altus; one son, Dick Montgomery, Hereford, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Jane Grimmett, Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one brother, Bill Bryan, Houston, Texas.
