Jack Darrell Goodman, 89, was born December 15, 1936, to Jesse V. Goodman and Nettie (Dieter) Goodman. He attended City View schools before moving to Mangum during his senior year, where he graduated with the Class of 1954.
Jack spent most of his life in Mangum, Oklahoma, with the exception of a brief time serving in the National Guard and working in Duncan, Oklahoma. On September 1, 1956, he married the love of his life, Lillie Stowe. From this union, they were blessed with one daughter, Kristie.
Jack worked as a dairy distributor for 30 years. He later became a Gold Spot distributor alongside Jack Halford, and the two shared a successful and lasting business partnership for many years.
Jack found his greatest joy in his family. He loved following his grandchildren to livestock shows and any activities they were involved in. In later years, he cherished his role as a great-grandfather and always looked forward to spending time and playing with his great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed taking family trips to Branson, creating many treasured memories along the way.
In his spare time, Jack enjoyed working on vehicles and tinkering with anything that needed fixing. He loved fishing and spending time playing pool with his friends.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents; Sister, Fran Aebisher and husband Richard; Sister-n-law Edna Stowe (Cap), and brothers-in-law Otho Stowe (Shorty), Henry Stowe (Brother).
Left to honor is loving memory is his wife, Lillie Goodman; Daughter, Kristie Clark and husband Butch; Grandson, Jacob Clark; Granddaughter, Halie Clark; Great Grandchildren, Westin and Emalynn Clark, Sister-n-law Wanda Thompson and husband Kenny, and Lucille Stowe; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Jack will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
