Obituary for James Frank Clark
Mr. James Frank Clark, age 80, of Altus, OK, died Friday, March 1, 1968, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at Tims Chapel, March 3, 1968, 2:00 P.M., with the Reverend Gene Garrison officiating. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Clark married the former Josie Leora Jones who preceded him in death on May 4, 1964.
He was retired from the Transfer & Storage business until the last 10 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and had lived in the Altus area since 1912. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and the Century Club.
He is survived by: two sons, Arthur Clark of Altus and Horace Clark of Chickasha; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Baker of Weatherford, OK, Mrs. Gladys Pennington of Richmond, VA and Mrs. Lois Slease of Yreka, CA; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Beulah Akers of Wister, OK; several nieces and nephews.
