James Henry Spivey was born December 6th, 1907 to Jew and Mamie Ralls Spivey in Nacona Texas. He married Verna Vaughn in Hollis Oklahoma on September 11, 1930. They lived in Altus for the past twenty eight years. Mr. Spivey was a member of the Church of Christ and worked for Green Motor Company.

James Henry Spivey passed away on November 2nd, 1969 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., November 5th, 1969 at Tims Chapel of Memories with Glendon Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
