Obituary for James Jimmy Petty Jr.
Funeral services for James Michael "Jimmy" Petty, Jr., age 34 of Altus, have been set for Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Kevin George of the Cornerstone Baptist Church will officiate.
Jimmy was born on February 23, 1970 at Lakenheath AFB, England to James Petty, Sr. of Vernon, Texas and Brenda Petty of Eastside Tuscon, Arozona. Jimmy attended Altus High School through 1986 and enjoyed spending his time listening to music, going to concerts, reading, collecting comic books, cooking, collecting cards, watching the Sci Fi channel on TV and playing with his cat, "Little Boy". Jimmy also enjoyed watching his favorite movie "Somewhere In Time" and spending time with his family whom he loved.
Jimmy is lovingly survived by his mother Brenda Petty and Jesse Wiley of Eastside Tuscon, Arizona; his father James Petty and wife Debra of Vernon, Texas; his daughter Amanda Jo Petty of Tuscon, Arizona; his brother, David Petty and fiancee Amanda Lynn Brooks of Altus; his sister Angels Petty and Matthew "Buck" Hicks of Virginia Beach, Virginia and two nephews Kyle Anthony McCoy of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Carson Alan Petty of Altus.
