Obituary for James Raymond Haws
James Raymond Haws age 66, of Olustee, Oklahoma died January 14, 1969 at Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. He was born February 25, 1902 at Victory, Oklahoma to J. Link Haws. He married Mary McCauley September 21, 1925 in Snyder, Texas. He was a farmer and had lived in the Victory community all of his life. James was a member of the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ.

Funeral services for James Raymond Haws are scheduled for January 16, 1969 at 2:00pm in the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ, Altus, officiated by Gary Colley. Burial will follow in the Victory Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

James Raymond Haws is survived by his wife Mary of the home in Olustee, two sons, Raymond Haws, Costa Mesa, California; Paul Haws, Newbury Park, California; two grandsons and granddaughter; four brothers, Max Haws, Tyler, Texas; Hartsell Haws, Lubbock, Texas; Link Haws, Altus, Oklahoma; Clyde Haws, Lawton, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. C. D. Walker, Homestead, Florida; Mrs. S. E. Spann, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mrs. Charles Sumrall, Altus, Oklahoma.
