Obituary for James Vinson Garrison
James Vinson Garrison, age 79. of Shawnee, Oklahoma, formerly of Eldorado, Oklahoma, died July 30, 1966 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was born February 8, 1887 in Aqone, North Carolina. He moved to Oklahoma in 1909. James married Nancy Prater in 1913 and she preceded him in death in 1951. James was a member of First Baptist in Eldorado and a member of the Odd Fellows.

Funeral Services for James Vinson Garrison are scheduled for August 1, 1966 at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. C.L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Eldorado, Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

James Vinson Garrison is survived by one daughter. Mrs. Marcella Phillips, Shawnee, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
