Jan Bradford age 72, passed away Friday, October 7, 2005 in Altus.
She was born October 31, 1932 in Dalton, Georgia to Luther A. and Agnes (Phillips) Ratcliff.
Jan came to Altus in 1953, and served many years as a licensed practical nurse with the Altus Medical and Surgical Clinic working primarily for Dr. Malcom Mollison. She later worked for Brown's Ambulance Service as an Emergency Medical Technician and was very active with the American Red Cross on the State and National level. She was a member of the Easter Star, OES #49, Oklahoma Emergency Medical Technician Association and the National emergency Medical Technician Association, and also a member of the First Baptist Church in Altus.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Bradford of Antioch, California, Randy Bradford and his wife Robin of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Annell Cowan and her husband James of Rocky Face, Georgia, two brothers Dale Ratcliff and his wife Betty of Trion, Georgia, Travis Ratcliff and his wife Jo Ann of Denton, Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Jerry Ratcliff.
Funeral services for Jan Bradford are scheduled for Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 10:00 am at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eugene Foreman officiating. Interment will be Thursday, October 13, 2005 at 10:00 am at Tunnel Hill Cemetery at Tunnel Hill, Georgia.
