Obituary for Jean Fain
Jean Fain age 57 of Altus, Oklahoma was born January 10, 1940, in Arkansas. She came to Altus in 1969, from Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mrs Fain passed away Thursday, October 23, 1997 in the Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City after a brief illness. Funeral service will be at 3:00pm, Saturday October 25, 1997, in the Victory Baptist Church with Rev. T.J. Willingham officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral HOme. In 1958 she and Sammy Fain were united in marriage at Fort Smith. Mr Fain preceded her in death, May 21, 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of the Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Sammy Fain of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Larry Fain of San Antonio, Texas, Linda Kay Fain of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Step-son Frankie Odel Fain of Mt. Burg, Arkansas, Barbara Jean and Delores Fain; 6 grandchildren, Jeanene Fain, Rocky Fain, Roxanna Fain, Robert Fain, Tommy Fain, Crystal Blazek.
She was preceded in death by her brother Tommy Denton Gage, sister Pansy Posey, husband sammy Fain-5-21-1993 and son Edward.
