Jefferson C. Pirkle age 78 of Altus, Oklahoma died December 9, 1966 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. He was born August 19, 1888 in Georgia to W.C. and Martha Jane (Bell) Parkle. Jefferson lived in Altus with his sister Grace Canada. His wife preceded him in death September 15, 1934.
Funeral services for Jefferson C. Pirkle are scheduled for December 11, 1966 at 3:00pm in the First Baptist Church, of Altus, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Cook. Graveside services will be in Levelland Cemetery, Levelland, Texas under the direction of Price Funeral Home in Levelland.
Jefferson C. Pirkle is survived by three sons, Homer Pirkle, Kress, Texas; John Pirkle, Houston, Texas; Gale C. Pirkle, Comanche, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Dalton Strong, Lubbock, Texas; Mrs. Jackie Turner, Lubbock, Texas; Mrs. Benny Ceif, Plainview, Texas; five sisters, Mrs. Grace Canada, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. G.N. Bills, Frederick, Oklahoma; Mrs. L.A. Head, Lawton, Oklahoma; Mrs. J.E. Sparks, Spurr, Texas; Mrs. Royce Stewart, Cleveland, Texas.
