Obituary for Jeffrey Paul Walker
Jeffrey Paul Walker was born on January 20, 1960, in Altus, Oklahoma, and went to be with his savior, Jesus Christ, on June 23, 2011. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Dr. John and Ayleen Walker; his grandparents Bill and Virginia Walker and Todd and Thelma Little; and his niece Serene Nichole Clinchy.
Jeff attended Altus Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1979. He then attended the University of Oklahoma Institute of Technology in Okmulgee and graduated with a degree in Electrical Technology. After college, he worked for many years as an electrician and in the Hospitality Industry in Oklahoma, California, and Texas.
Jeff had a great passion for all things involving electronics or wheels and could usually be found surrounded by one or the other. He loved going to Little Sahara with his best friend, Scott Henderson, to ride the dunes on his sand toys. Most of all, he was a loyal brother, friend, and ally who will be missed by those he has left behind.
He is survived by brothers Mike Walker and his wife Charlene of Edmond; David Walker and his wife Tonya of San Antonio; John Walker II and his wife Cheryl of Altus; Tim Walker and his wife Jeanne of Altus; nephews Brandon Walker and wife Laura; Duece Walker; Trey Walker; Nick Walker; Cody Walker; and niece Carly; God-son Scotty Henderson; and a host of friends and extended family including: Chris Dickerson and his wife Lisa; Whitney Lamb and husband Jonathon; Taylor Bunting; Scott and DeeAnn Henderson, James Hans, Luis Ortega Jr., and Brent Romines.
