Memorial service for Jerline NormaJean Claverie, 82, Altus, Oklahoma formally of Tuscan, Arizona will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home, Altus.
Jerline NormaJean Claverie was born to Jerry H. and Opal Stella (Polson) White in Dustin, Oklahoma on December 12, 1932. She married William T. McFarland in May of 1950 in Merritt, OK. She worked as a Secretary for many years in Albuquerque, NM before selling Insurance in Tuscan for over 20 years. Jerline moved to Altus in 2007 where she was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved the Dallas Cowboys, traveling and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother and step father, Julian Howell Claverie.
Survivors include three sons, Thomas Glen McFarland and wife Sara, David Waye Hargrove and wife Beth and Arthur Francis Hargrove and wife Marion all of Arizona; a daughter, Marcia Jean and husband Daniel Carver of Altus; three step children, Judy Kucko, Rene Alsup and Rise Wright; two sisters, Wanda McConnel and Carolyn Thompson; three brothers, Erivan White, Jack White and Billy White; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
