Jess N. Walker, age 81 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away March 25, 1982 at his home in Altus.
Jess was born February 16, 1901, in Decator, Texas. He married Verda Maley in 1920. She preceded him in death in 1980. Jess then married Thelma Castle. He had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma for the past 19 years. He farmed in the Humphreys community and was a member of several organizations.
Funeral services for Jess N. Walker are scheduled for Saturday, March 27, 1982 at 2:30 pm at the First Baptist Church, Altus, officiated by Keith Wiginton. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Jess N. Walker is survived by his wife Thelma, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Nichols, three grandchildren, Mike Nichols, Lawton, Oklahoma; Melinda King, Altus, Oklahoma; Mark Nicholas, Altus; two grandchildren, Brian Nichols, Lawton, Kendra Nichols , Lawton, Oklahoma; one brother, A. S. Walker, Muleshoe, Texas; one sister Lena Clements, Amarillo, Texas.
