Mr. Jesse Raymond Churchwell, age 72, Route #2, Altus, died Saturday, May 21, 1976 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services have been set for 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 24, 1976 at Tims Chapel of Memories, officiated by the Reverend Clayton Hughes. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery
under direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Churchwell was born November 22nd, 1903 and he was married in November 5,1971. He lived all of his life in the Friendship area. He was a retired farmer and a ginner.
Survivors include: his wife, Fern of the home; four sons, Wilton Ray of Blair, Richard of Altus, Omar Lee and Wesley Clois, both of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Mrs. Colleen Booker of Connell, WA and Mrs. Karen Price of Cape Giradeau, MO; eleven grandchrildren; one brother, Charles Churchwell of Walters, OK; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Ledbetter of Lone Wolf, Miss Bessie Churchwell of Hobart and Mrs. Cora Ward of Shawnee.
