Obituary for Jesse Stanton Beasley
Funeral services for Jesse Stanton Beasley, age 78, of Eldorado, who died early Tuesday morning in the Chillicothe, Texas Hospital, have been set for 2:00 P.M., Friday at the Eldorado Church of Christ, officiated by Mark Legg and assisted by Bill Osborne. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born May 22nd, 1901 in Livingston, TN, he was married August 16, 1925 to the former Roxie Black who survives of the home. Mr. Beasley was well-known in the horsetrading circles and stayed active at his trade from his hospital bed after being struck down with cancer saeveral months ago.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include: one daughter, Mrs. Azalene Curry of Councilgrove, KS; two brothers, Bill Beasley of Vernon, TX and Sutton Beasley of Seymour, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Wisner of Madison, TN and Mrs. Mattie Almonrode of Livingston, TN; three grandchildren;
a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends survive.
