Jimmie Jackson was born November 27, 1899 at Dial, Texas. She died October 30, 1993 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She came to Altus in 1938 from Honeygrove, Texas. She worked with Child Care for most of her life and was a long time member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.

Services are scheduled for 10am Wednesday at the Lowell-Tims Chapel. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Survivors include nephews; B.C. Gilbreath and Joe Louis Bartee; nieces, Rubie Mae Rogers and Elois McCoy; grandson Lanny Morgan.
