Jimmy A. Carter age 81, of Altus, Oklahoma died November 23, 1982 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, in Altus.

Jimmy was born September 26, 1901 in Woodward County, Oklahoma. He married Essie Mae, and worked in Insurance and Real Estate before retining.

Funeral services for Jimmy A. Carter are scheduled for Friday, November 26, 1982 at W pm at the First Methodist Church, Altus, officiated by Bill Moss. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Essie, of the home in Altus; one son, Jim Carter Jr., one daughter, Camille Simmon, Dallas, Texas.
