Obituary for Jo Deen Nash
Memorial service for Jo Deen Nash, 60, Altus, Oklahoma will be at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with Scott Carper, Pastor, Fletcher Assembly of God, Fletcher, OK officiating.
Mrs. Nash passed away after a long bout with cancer on August 4, 2015 in Altus, OK.
Jo Deen Nash was born to Freddie and Billie Jo (Newton) Baggett in Lawton, OK on October 7, 1954. Jo grew up in Elgin, OK where she graduated High School in 1973. She married Jimmy Nash on August 17, 1978 in Altus, OK where they made their home. She worked at Altus Air Force Base for many years as a Secretary for Civil Service before being medically retired. She later worked various jobs before her illness keep her from working. She enjoyed spending time, and fishing on their land.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son in law, Wylie Reinhart.
Survivors include her husband of the home; a son, James Nash of Altus; a daughter, Brenda and husband Kevin Rains of Duncan; 9 grandchildren, Jordan Nash and wife Lexi, Kelsey Nash, Justin Baldwin, J.J. Nash, Dakota Bradley, Toni Smith, Devon Smith, Blake Rains and Jacob Bordon; a brother, Jay Livingston and wife Adela of Littlefield, TX; 2 sisters, Frieda Reinhart of Elgin and Kay and husband Troy Carney of Elgin and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
