Obituary for Jobe Edgar Thrash
Mr. Jobe E. Thrash, age 64, lifelong resident of Olustee, died Monday in Oklahoma City at the Veterans Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Olustee Church of Christ, officiated by Clyde Sloan and assisted by Bill Osborne. Burial will be in Olustee Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born November 15, 1915 at Olustee, he had lived and farmed in the Olustee arewa thru his lifetime with the exception of a period of service in the Army during WWII. He was a long time member of the Altus American Legion Post #44, the Disabled American Veterans Post and a member of the Olustee Church of Christ.

Survivors include: one brother, Mr. Marian (Bud) Thrash of Olustee; five sisters, Maude Thrash of Olustee, Maggie Chambers of Altus, Etta Hagar of Albany, Texas, Mazie Hawley of Vernon, TX and Ruth Martin of LaFeria, TX.
