Jody Glenn, age 82 of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at his home in Altus.
Jody was born February 13, 1937 in Altus, Oklahoma to J. F. Glenn and Samantha Iva (Owens) . He was raised in Hess until age 14 when the family moved to the Elmer community. Jody proudly served his country in the United States Army from May 11, 1960 to May 18, 1962. He married the love of his life Barbarah Ann Palmore on February 15, 1963 in Elmer, Oklahoma. Jody always had a smile on his face and a kind word for a friend. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand to help anyone at anytime. He enjoyed OU football, Hunting, fishing but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and then his great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Wayne Glenn, three sisters Billie, Sherry, Barbara (Bob) Sons; Randy, Kevin, and Kenneth, his wife who passed in 2012 Barbarah.
Jody is survived by his Son; Todd Glenn, three Grandchildren; Shannon Dunn and husband Justin, Jessica Johnson and husband Grant, Kaileigh Pouge, four Great grandchildren, Brecken, Evan, Jace, Bear, and Colton, daughter in law Genia Clark and husband Greg, as well as nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 1, 2020 at Lowell - Tims Funeral Home Chapel in Altus, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery with military honors.
