Obituary for Joe E. Sanchez
MSgt Joseph E. Sanchez, age 35, 443rd Supply Squadron, Altus AFB. died Saturday night at the Base Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
Survivors include: his wife, Esther, of the home; one son, Edward Jay; one daughter, Mary Helen of the home; five brothers, Ray, Max Jr., James, Richard, Howard; two sisters, Virginia Sanchez and Susan Defrau; his parents of Albuquerque, NM also survive.
Rosary will be said, Sunday evening at 7:30 P.M. at Lowell Memorial Chapel, with services set for 9:30 A.M., Monday morning at the Altus Air Force Base Chapel, officiated by Chaplain (LtCol) Albert E. Verbrugghe. Lowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Final rites will be conducted in Albuquerque with Rosary Tuesday evening at 7:30 P.M. and Mass on Wednesday morning at 10:00 A.M., at St. Edwin Catholic Church in Albuquerque, NM. Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM, with full military honors. Salazar Mortuaries of Albuquerque are in charge.
