Joey Roberts, age 2525 passed away Friday, November 30, 2001 in Altus. He was born September 12, 1976 in Amarillo, Texas to Everett and Mona (Carney) Roberts.
Joey graduated from Altus High School in 1994. He worked for Brewer's Auto Supply for three years. some of Joey's favorite pasttimes were camping and fishing. He attended the First Baptist Church in Altus.
He is survived by his parents, Everett an Mona Roberts of Altus, Oklahoma, one daughter Tristyn A. Roberts, paternal grandparents E.G. and Fay Roberts of Amarillo, Texas maternal grandparents Jerry and Lillie Carney also of Amarillo, Texas. He is also survived by two uncles Jerry Carney, Jr. of Amarillo, Texas, Billy Carney of Duncan, Oklahoma; three aunts Diana Wieck of Dawn, Texas, Brenda Budd of Amarillo, Texas, Margie Carney of Amarillo, Texas; mother of Tristyn A, Roberts Julie DuBois.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, December 4, 2001 at 2:00 pm in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Sonny Tims and Morris Speck officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
