John Bernice Posey, age 70, of Hess, Oklahoma died October 23, 1967 in Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. John was born March 22, 1897 in Woodbruy, Texas to John and Martha (Jennings) Posey. He was a driller and lived in Cutback, Montana for 30 years.

Services for John Bernice Posey are scheduled for October 25, 1967 at 10:00am in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Eddie D. Overstreet. Burial will follow in the Hess Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

John Bernice Posey is survived by his son, Jack Glen Posey, Scottsdale, Arizona; one daughter, Mrs. Herman Luther, Springdale, Arkansas; five grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren one sister, Mrs Leslie Schumaker Campbell.
