Obituary for John Clifford Combs
Mr. John Clifford Combs, age 73, resident of Eldorado, died Monday morning at Chillicothe, Texas.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 Wednesday afternoon at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado, officiated by the Reverend Don Ladner. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born September 30th, 1904 in Olustee, OK, he was married July 5, 1924 in Altus to Alice Cox who survives of the home. Mr. Combs was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eldorado and also a retired ginner in the Eldorado area.

In addition to his wife, additional survivors include: one son, Mr. J. C. Combs of Hobbs, NM; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Jo Colson of Oklahoma City; one brother, Mr. George Combs of Altus; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Faye Thomas of Duke, OK; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
