Obituary for John Edward Richardson
John Edward Richardson age 74, of Elmer, Oklahoma died Friday, December 22, 1967 at Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. John was born August 4, 1893 in Clayton, Il. to John William and Ida Mae (McCoy) Richardson. He was a veteran of World War I and member of the American Legion. John had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1905.
Services for John Edward Richardson are scheduled for Tuesday, December 26, 1967 at2:00 pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Cecil Schultz. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
John Edward Richardson is survived by his sister, Edith Huddleston of Elmer, Oklahoma; two brothers, Thomas M. Richardson, Elmer, Oklahoma; Russell Richardson, Elmer. Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Viola Steffel, Cordeno, Washington; five grandchildren, one niece, six nephews.
