Obituary for John L. Burnett Jr.
John L. Burnett Jr., age 76, lifelong resident of Eldorado, Oklahoma, died Sunday, April 17th, 1994, in the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, in the Eldorado First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Neave and Rev. Mitch Whittington officiating. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Burnett was born April 6, 1918 in Eldorado to John and Lillie Burnett. He was a member of the Eldorado First Baptist Church. Mr. Burnett served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include: two brothers, Otis Burnett and Holly Burnett of Eldorado, OK; one step-sister Katherine Hickerson of Altus.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Bertha.
