Obituary for John Marion Burrow
Mr. John Marion Burrow, age 82, of 914 E. Walnut, Altus, OK, died Friday, November 29th, 1968 at his residence in Altus, OK.
Funeral services will be held at the Humphreys Baptist Church on December 1, 1968, 2:00 P.M., with the Reverend Noel George officiating and assisted by the Reverend Bill Brown. Burial will be in the Frances Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Burrow came to the Oklahoma Territory in 1898. His parents homesteaded about four miles SE of Humphrey. He was a retired farmer. He was married to the former Ella M. Ellis on December 9, 1910 in Warren, OK.
He is survived by: his wife of the home; two sons, Russell Burrow of Wichita, KS and Johnnie Burrow of Altus, OK; two brothers, Hill Burrow of Texline, TX and Forrest Burrow of McPetersburg, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Key of Vernon, TX and Mrs. Ophelia Bolinder of Colorado; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son and one daughter.
