Obituary for John Norman Cline
John Norman Cline, 52, of Headrick, Oklahoma, passed away at his home Sunday, July 10, 2011.

John was born April 2, 1959, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, to John Marvin and Shirley A. (Howard) Cline. He moved to Altus at the age of ten and graduated from Altus High School in 1976. His first job was going on wheat harvest where he proved to be a hard worker. He later worked for Kay Electric where he worked rewinding motors. He also worked with Jim Holder on grain elevators. John decided to leave Altus and moved to Hollister and then to Groom, Texas, managing the Co-Op and running his own trucking business. After the death of his wife, Raylynn Dillman Cline, John moved his three children, Greg, Jessica, and Levi to Altus and worked for Humphrey's Co-Op. After several years, he bought property in Headrick and loved working the land. John retired from hard physical work this past year due to medical reasons. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his wife, Raylynn Cline and one son, John Gregory Cline, John is survived by his parents, John Marvin and Shirley Cline; one brother, William Cline; three daughters, Shay Mease, Lacey Shelton, and Jessica Sims; one son, Levi Cline; one granddaughter, Gracey Shelton; and two grandsons, Bostyn Shelton and Hagen Sims.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Memorial Services for John Cline will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011, at Lowell-Tims Chapel with Bobby Laws officiating.
