John Oscar Perry age 86 of Blair, Oklahoma, died June 20, 1966 at Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. He was born June 2, 1880 in Pope County, Missouri to William and Bell (Butman) Perry. He came to Jackson county in 1920 and spent most of his life here. His wife preceded him in death May 11, 1931. He was associated with the Assembly of God Church and a retired farmer. He had lived in the Duke and Warren communities previously.
Funeral services for John Oscar Perry are scheduled for 2:00pm June 23, 1966 in the Tims Chapel officiated by Re. Carl McCoy. Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
John Oscar Perry is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jimmie Austin, Lone Wolf, Oklahoma; Mrs. D.B. Austin, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Elmo Combs, Van Nuys, California; three sons, Emmitt Perry, Bethany, Oklahoma; Damon Perry, Altus, Oklahoma; Tilman Perry, Belle Gardens, California.
