John W. McPhails age 46, of Altus Air Force Base died June 10, 1964 in Massachusetts. He was born February 3, 1918 in Bonham, Texas to Willie and Mary (Wade) McPhails. He had been a resident of Altus since 1920.

Funeral services for John W. McPhails are scheduled for June 12, 1964 at 2:30 pm in the Tims Chapel. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

John W. McPhails is survived by his wife Marie of the home his mother Mary McPhails of Altus, Oklahoma; one son Johnny Ray McPhails, Lawton, Oklahoma; one daughter, Barbara McPhails, Lawton, Oklahoma; one brother, Ray McPhails, Altus, Oklahoma.
