Jolene Richeson Waller
Jolene Richeson Waller, 78, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 22nd, 2011. Jolene was born on April 28, 1933, in Eldorado, Oklahoma, to Joe and Marie Moore. When Jolene was 21 months old, her mother died and she was adopted by Lee and Dollie Cavenor. Jolene married Roy Richeson, of Eldorado, on October 14, 1950. Born to this union were Lynn, Janean, David, Janie, and Jean. At the time of Roy's death they had been married 46 years. Jolene married LC Waller May 14, 1999.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother known for her compassion and selflessness. She dearly loved the Lord and taught her children to know and trust in Him.
She is survived by her husband LC; two sons and their wives, Lynn and Betty Richeson of Blair, Oklahoma and David and Jerri Richeson of Elgin, Oklahoma. She is also survived by two daughters and son-in-laws, Janean and Mike Brown of Altus, Oklahoma, Jean and Eddie Turner of Arkansas. Also surviving one son-in-law, Tommy Quinn of Spicewood, Texas. Jolene is also survived by three sons of the heart; Dennis Kenemer, Jack Owen and Mike Houston. Jolene is survived by two step-sons and their wives: Gary and Donna Waller of Boerne, Texas and Larry and Diana Waller of Divine Texas, and one step-daughter, Anita Burns of Powell, Texas. Jolene is survived by her grandchildren: Susan Richeson, Shelley and Michael Walker, Rand and Lynlea Ransom, Misty Weldon, Amber and Blake Jackson, Rowdy Ransom, and Bryan and Christal Adams. Jolene is also survived by one step-granddaughter, Melvena Howard, and a host of great-grandchildren and friends.
Jolene was preceded in death by her parents and adoptive parents; her husband, Roy Richeson; her daughter, Janie Quinn, and infant twin grandsons, Michael and David Brown
Visitation will be on Sunday evening, July 24th, from 6 to 8 pm at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus. Graveside service will be Monday, July 25th, at 10 am at the Martha Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Moore officiating. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
