Obituary for Joseph Lee Hernandez
Joseph Lee Hernandez was born September 1st, 1936 at San Antonio, Texas. He died on May 14, 1990 at his home in Altus, OK. He married Shirley Ann Martin on October 25, 1958 in Missouri. He was retired after serving over 20 years with the United States Air Force. He had been a resident of Altus since 1971. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and of the Masons.
Survivors include: his wife, Shirley Hernandez of the home in Altus; one daughter, Jolenn Hernandez of Altus, OK; one son, Joseph Lee Hernandez, Jr. of Altus, OK; four grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Hile of Ft. Worth, TX and Linda Wetzel of Colorado; one brother, Charles Hernandez of Evansville, IN; his Mother, Mae Hernandez of Ft. Worth, TX.
Services are scheduled for 10 A.M. Thursday, May 17, 1990 at the Tims Chapel of Memories. Officiating will be the Rev. Boyd Whitehead. Interment will be Friday morning in Houstonia, Missouri. Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
