Obituary for Joseph Lester Hert
Mr. Joseph Lester Hert, age 56, of Altus, OK, died on Wednesday, August 21st, 1968 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at the Thomas Street Church of Christ on Thursday, August 22, 1968 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Richard Williams officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Hert was married to the former Louise Shelby in 1940 at Lawton, OK. He served in World War II. He had lived in Altus for the past 20 years. He had worked at the P&H Music Company for the past 10 years.

He is survived by: his wife, Louise, of the home in Altus; one daughter, Brenda Kay Hert of Oklahoma City; one son, Larry Joe Hert of Oklahoma City; one sister, Miss Ann Hert of Lawton, OK; his Mother, Mrs. Stella Hert of Lawton, OK.
