He moved to the Altus area in 1929. Joseph married Euta Mare Ganen September 14, 1933. Joseph was a member of the Lions Club, real Estate Board and a Civic Leader.
Funeral services for Joseph Montgomery Paulk are scheduled for January 7, 1965 at 2:00pm in the First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. David Foster and assisted by Rev. Gene Garrison. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery.
Joseph Montgomery Paulk is survived by his wife, Euta Mae of the home; one son Jack D. Paulk of Columbus, Ohio; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three brothers, John Paulk, Bloomington, Texas; Dan Paulk, Palacios, Texas; Bill Paulk, Maesa Beach Florida; two sisters, Mrs Phillip Ludwick, Arlington, Texas; Mrs. Eddie Matensak, San Diego, California.
