Josephine Barton Hinkle, age 89, of Altus, died Sunday, July 12th, 1998 in Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

She was born on September 19th, 1908 in Hood County, TX to James and Mary (Hairrel) Barton. She married Bill Hinkle in 1930 in Altus,OK. They moved to Lubbock, TX in 1930 and then moved to Arkansas in 1950. Josephine later moved to Duncan, OK in 1996 and then to Altus.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two nieces; two nephews.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Warren Cemetery Fund.
