Joshua was born in Upland, California to his parents, Frank Daniel McMaster and Lori J. Sherman on January 26, 1979. He grew up in California and Oklahoma. Joshua was a graduate of Altus High School and went on to obtain a degree from the College of the Redwoods.
Joshua worked as a butcher. He married Patricia Frazier in Altus, OK on June 10, 2006. Their happy union lasted 15 years.
He loved spending time with his son, who he loved with all his heart and the rest of his family was a close second. Joshua had a great appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and being outside in general. He also was very passionate about learning and had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He was always reading and researching and loved a good debate! Joshua also liked cooking and grilling and often came up with unusual recipes of his own. He made the best critter chili and loved eating his wife's dove poppers. Joshua was also an avid fan of OU Sooner football. Precious moments with family and extended family were the times most valued by Joshua and he looked forward to every chance he had to interact with his loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Grandpa and Grandma McMaster; and his maternal grandparents, Grandpa and Grandma Ross.
Those left to treasure the warmth of Joshua's memory are his parents: Lori and Randy Sherman, and Frank and Elaine McMaster; his loving wife, Patricia of the home; his dear son, Aiden Daniel McMaster; two brothers; Ryan Ross Sherman and Matt Grimes; four sisters: Carole Morris; Star Price, Renee Damerow, and Jennifer Grimes; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
