Obituary for Josie Coke Thomas
Mrs. Josie Coke Thomas, age 89, long time resident of Jackson County and the Eldorado Community, died Wednesday at the hospital in Chillicothe, Texas.

Funeral services have been set for 10:30 A.M., Tuesday at the Eldorado First Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend C. C. Evans and assisted by the Reverend Don Ladner. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born December 25, 1887 at Patton, Missouri, she was married to her first husband Walter Coke who died in 1947 and her second husband, Joe Thomas who died in 1960. She was a member of the Eldorado First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two-stepsons, John Thomas of Oklahoma City and Henderson Coke of Glendale, CA; two daughters, Mrs. Naomi Allen and Mrs. Betty Howell of Hitchcock, OK; one step-daughter, Jessie Cox of Oklahoma City; one brother, Crules Cheek of Yucaipa, CA; two sisters, Mrs. Perry Lane of Eldorado and Mrs. Otto Masse of Colorado; two grandchildren; ten step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
