Funeral services for Joyce Marie Tipton, 66, of Altus are scheduled for 10:00am Tuesday, April 27, at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Warren Cemetery. Ed Lobaugh will officiate.

Mrs. Tipton died April 24, at the local hospital. Mrs. Tipton was born February 8, 1927 in Warren to Elbert C. and Bonnie Hunter. She had worked for many years in the county clerks office. Joyce married Bill Tipton in warren on February 14, 1946.

Mrs. Tipton returned to Jackson county in 1985, moving here from Arvada, Colorado. She was a member of the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ.

Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Joyce's name to the charity of your choice.

Mrs. Tipton is survived by her mother Bonnie Hunter of Altus, Oklahoma; husband Bill Tipton of the home; children, John Tipton of Denver, Colorado; Joey Tipton of Arlington, Texas; brother Royce Hunter of Purcell, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Tipton was preceded in death b her father.
