Obituary for Juan R. Barrera
Funeral Services for Johnny Barrera, age 29, of Altus, have been scheduled. Prayer Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 1992 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 1992 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. Father Tim Luschen will officiate.
Mr. Barrera died at his residence in Altus Wednesday. He was born October 13, 1962 in Altus to
G. M. and Maria Barrera. He had lived in Altus all of his life. He attended Altus schools and graduated in 1980. In January of 1983, he married Brenda Biddy in Vernon, TX. Mr. Barrera was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church and was employed by Wilmes Superstore as auto body manager for the dealership.
Survivors include: his step-father, Luis Hernandez and his mother, Maria Barrera Hernandez, both of Altus, Oklahoma; his wife, Brenda Barrera of Altus, OK; three children, Brian Revilla, Wesley Barrera and Jamme Lee Barrera, all of Altus, Oklahoma; four sisters, Susie Ybarra of Altus, OK, Olga Wyman of Dodge City, KS, Lucy Gregory of Granite, OK and Louisa Jenkins of Las Vegas, NV; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his Father, G.M. Barrera.
