Obituary for Judith Hawthorne
Judith "Judy" Ann Hawthorne of Elmer, Oklahoma was born in Watertown, Wisconsin on March 8, 1946, passed away on October 18, 2012, at the age of 66.
She enjoyed a 26 year career as a custodian for Altus Public Schools. She loved spending time at the casino with her sisters. Judy also loved quilting and crocheting on occasion... she loved shopping with, and for, her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Keisow, mother, Margaret Colden, and brother Harry Kiesow.
She is lovingly survived by two sons, Gene Hawthorne and Robert Hawthorne and his wife Hilda; 5 sisters, Delores Smith and husband Robert, Mary Fowler and husband Mike, Lucy Navarro, Janet Smith, Jackie Drone and husband Joe;3 brothers, John Colden and wife Glenda, Jim Colden, Larry Kiesow and wife Ione; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service has been scheduled by the family for Judy Hawthorne at Vernon Baptist Church, 2700 Montgomery Street in Vernon, Texas, Saturday, October 20th at 2:00 pm. It will be officiated by Pastor Gary Chapman.
