Obituary for Kack Schnorrenberg
Ira Harold "Kack" Schnorrenberg, 89 of Kempner, Texas died Wednesday October 30, 2013 at Rollins-Brook Community Hospital. He was born April 30, 1924, in Warren, Oklahoma where he resided until WWII. His family helped settle in South Western Oklahoma when it still belonged to Texas. He retired from the Army in 1964 and was a Ford-Mercury dealer for 31 years in Lampasas, Copperas Cove, Gatesville and Clifton. Kack was a patriot, having served his country through WWII, Korean War and Vietman. He was also a businessman with enterprises in Central Texas and a rancher in Southwest Oklahoma. He was past President of Central Texas Chapter of the U. S. Army, past President Fourth Region AUSA, served on the Council of Trustees National level AUSA, on board of Trustees Metroplex Hospital, Secretary Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Military Affairs Committee in Copperas Cove, served on Military Affairs Committee with Gatesville Chamber of Commerce, was on board of directors Cove State Bank for 24 years, past President of Coppers Cove Lion's Club, member of Commanding General III Corps Ft. Hood Advisory Committee, awarded Presidential Citation for Civilian Duty, member Masonic Lodge in Belton, Texas and a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason.

Survivors include wife, Vanita Schnorrenberg of Kempner, Texas; daughters, Kaye Daniel and husband Randy of Meadowlakes, Texas; Miggs Kramer and husband Tom, Andra Sparks, son Brandy Craft, grandchildren, Natalie and Dennis Berry, Nicole and Nicholas LaRosa, Jessica Schnorrenberg, Amber and Clint Cepeda, Caitlin Schnorrenberg, Julianna Berry, Chase Berry, Jake LaRosa, Ethan Muehlstein, Emory Cepeda, Ryan and Gina Meech, Adam and Leslie Meech, Niki and Matt Kelly, Clay and Heather Sparks, Kara Sparks, Holden and Kendall Meech, Wyatt and Brooklyn Meech, Addie Kate Kaughtry, Noas Sparks, Kennedy Sparks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Juana Schnorrenberg Snider and Louise Schnorrenberg Hinton, his son, Mark Schnorrenberg and his first wife Jo Jean.

A memorial service will be held Friday November 1, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel, followed by visitation from 6-8 pm. at Sneed Funeral Chapel, followed by visitation from 6-8 pm.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday November 3, 2013 at Warren Cemetery in Warren, Oklahoma with military honors and Masonic rites.
