Obituary for Kacy C. Howard
Kacy C. Howard , age 84, passed away Thursday, January 25th, 1996 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ardron Hinton officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Howard was born February 4th, 1911, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, the son of the late Warren and Farrie (King) Howard. He has been a lifelong resident of the Jackson County area. On September 20, 1941, Kacy and Vernie Roach were united in marriage at Blair, OK. They have lived in Headrick for many years where Kacy farmed and ranched until his retirement. He believed in the Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his spouse, Vernie Howard; four children, Dr. Era Lois Howard and husband Waymon of Dewey, OK, Charlie Loyd Howard and wife Johnette of Blair, OK, Martha Sauer and husband Stephen of Weatherford, OK and Dr. O.M. Zack Howard and husband Jim A. of Frederick, MD; one brother, Sam Howard of Headrick, Oklahoma; two sisters, Jessie Reynolds of Altus, OK and Bessie Doane and husband Bennie of Lawton, OK; three grandchildren, Warren Bron Howard, Kaycee Nichole Howard and Christopher John Sauer.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Wash Howard, 12-24-95.
