Katherine McLain Hensley


Katherine McClain Hensley was born September 17, 1907 at Paris Texas. She died December 30, 1993 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She married Homer Ernest Hensley on May 29, 1924 at Mangum, Oklahoma.

Katherine was a long time resident of Victory community and Jackson County having resided here over 80 years.. She was a long time member of the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ. She was also active withy the Victory Home Demonstration Club.

Mrs. Hensley is preceded in death by her husband, Homer Hensley on July 17, 1967 and one sister. She is survived by one sister Aline Griffin of Plainview, Texas and five nephews Larry Griffin, Homer Hensley, Jim Hensley, Don Hensley and Richard Woodring.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 3, 1994 in the Victory Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home from 7-9 P. M. Sunday night, January 2, 1994.
