Keith Lacy McCombs, age 62, of Altus, passed away Friday afternoon, February 27, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Keith was born in Altus, Oklahoma on July 10, 1952, to Delmar and Onie (Walker) McCombs. Keith and his brothers grew up in the Warren Community. Keith graduated Navajo School in 1970. After graduation, he attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK where he obtained a Bachelor"s degree in Business Administration. He married Connie Parks on August 16, 1974 in Midwest City, OK. Shortly after, they made their home in Altus where he worked at Production Credit until 1988. Then, he began working at Southwest Technology Center. He enjoyed working there for several years. In his later years, he enjoyed working at Hokett Construction of Blair. Keith most loved working on his farm and raising cattle. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, golfing, antiquing, and spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother Don McCombs, Keith is survived by his two daughters, Allison Biscoe and husband BG of Weatherford, OK and Rachel Terry and husband Matt of Altus; three grandchildren, Wyatt Lacy Biscoe, Landry Terry, and Jett Terry, one brother, Scott McCombs of Warren and his two children, Kaden McCombs of Stillwater and Karlee McCombs of Altus, one sister-in-law, Brenda McCombs of Warren and her two daughters, Stephanie Angelly and husband Melvin of Warren and Heather Bonds and her husband Neil of Altus along with many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Keith McCombs will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home of Altus.
The family will greet friends from 5 until 6 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
