Kelsey Christine Shelton
Kelsey Christine Shelton was born on December 2, 1992 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Kevin Shelton and Connie Estes Shelton. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 2011. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University in 2015. After graduating from OSU, Kelsey worked for Edwin Fair Community Mental Health Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She soon moved to Amarillo, Texas and worked for Amarillo College in the HR Department as the EOD Coordinator. Kelsey was an avid reader and one of her favorite authors was Deanna Chase. She loved to spend time with her two dogs, Athena and Winston, and her kitty, Kit Kat, or as she liked to call them, her ‘Fur Babies’. Kelsey was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Kelsey was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Clyde Estes.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, the love of her life, Seth Austin; brother, Kade Shelton; parents, Kevin Shelton and Connie Estes Shelton; grandparents, Dale Shelton and Bonnie Shelton; grandmother, Sue Estes; uncle, Zachary Estes and aunt, Nancy Estes; aunt, Teri Bush and uncle, Fred Bush; cousins, Reid Estes, Katy Thurmond (Reese), Jay Clark, Bud Langham (Jill), and T.J. Langham.
Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local Humane Society, animal shelter, or public library in honor of Kelsey.
A graveseide service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday November 25, 2017 at Altus City Cemetery, Altus Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday November 29, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
