Kristi Dawn O"Guin, age 40, of Mangum, passed away Friday afternoon, April 16, 2010, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, as the results of a motor vehicle accident southeast of Mangum.
Kristi was born in Dallas, Texas, on July 23, 1969, to Bob Darnall and Marry Ann (Green) O"Guin. At age six, she moved, with her family, to Longview, Texas where they lived until moving to Mangum at the beginning of her sixth grade year. Kristi attended Mangum School where she was involved in many activities, including cheerleading. She later attended Western Oklahoma State College and obtained her License Practical Nursing license and worked at the Mangum Hospital, Main Street Clinic, in Altus, Jackson County Memorial Hospital, Comanche County Hospital and home health care. Kristi was a hard worker who loved nursing and spending her spare time riding horses.
Survivors include two children, Ryan Rockhold and fianc"e Catrina Cosman of Georgetown, Texas and Te"onna Rockhold of Duke; her mother, Mary Allgood and husband Carl Sr. of Vernon, Texas; her father, Bob Darnall O"Guin and wife Bernadette of Mt. Holly, New Jersey; two brothers, Jimmy Allen Freeman and wife Susan of Houston, Texas and Bob Darnall O"Guin II of Boston, Massachusetts; her fianc"e Jimmy Rockhold of Mangum along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Kristi Dawn O"Guin will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Riverside Cemetery with Pastor Shawn Laughlin officiating. Services are under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
The Family will greet friends at Greer Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 until 7 p.m.
